Q: Give Azzarello's Wonder Woman a chance! She reminds me of Athena in that her strength and skill flow from a deep-rooted sense of wisdom and order, unlike many modern takes on WW that treat her more as a warmongering Ares-type. Additionally, the character dynamics between the various Olympians are top-notch: a dysfunctional family, with WW serving as the sole voice of reason and compassion. It really deserves to be read past issue #7.
